Sausage & Fire
It was such a nice day, that we decided to grill out and have dinner on the patio. Had Italian sausages and a nice red wine. Later we decided to have a fire. Hubby was pretty excited and long before night fall built the fire in the pit. The boy scout really came out – built the fire “top down” which meant that two big logs on the bottom, two slightly smaller logs over those then a series of smaller and smaller. Filled in with pine cones, pine needles and little oak sticks. One match and poof the fire was started! We stayed out for about three hours burning the pile of sticks that had accumlated over the spring.
While we were burning, we discussed many differnt topics, but one was reincarnation. Finally I think that it has set in to the husband that when you die, your soul does not just sit about and play a harp for all eternaty, that it can come back and redo it all over again. The new moon is just a couple days away, so it was pretty dark outside, but that was great as there were sooo many stars out, we almost did not need the moon. Decided to do the new moon ritual on Sunday night around 11 or 12. I think I will do it in the screen pourch, now that it is clean!
